Who writes the content

Scientific dossiers are written by the AARO LAB editorial team, composed of scientific writers trained in the critical reading of biomedical literature. The team relies on PubMed-indexed literature, learned-society guidelines and available systematic reviews. No content is generated and published automatically. No clinical statement is published without a traceable reference.

How dossiers are prepared

1. Mapping of search intents to identify the questions readers actually ask.
2. Targeted bibliographic review using PubMed, DOI, PMID and learned-society guidelines.
3. Structured writing following the Science Design System (Hero, TOC, standardized sections, EvidenceBadge).
4. Systematic verification of cited references (active DOI/PMID, non-retracted publications).
5. Application of Design System tokens and components to ensure visual coherence and accessibility.
6. Publication with a `datePublished` timestamp and a recorded last-scientific-review date.

Editorial roles

• Scientific writer

  Conducts the bibliographic review, structures the sections and drafts the dossier in clear yet rigorous language.

• Editor

  Checks editorial coherence, adherence to the Design System, neutrality of tone and the absence of any promotional content.

• Reference verifier

  Checks every citation: accessible DOI, valid PMID, coherence between claim and source, absence of retraction.

• Publishing lead

  Decides when a dossier goes live, manages updates and arbitrates corrections reported by readers.

How reviews are conducted

Every dossier undergoes an internal cross-review: the writer produces an initial version, the editor reviews both substance and form, then a second pass verifies reference traceability. Each dossier is reviewed at least once a year and whenever a meta-analysis, pivotal RCT or new learned-society guideline is released.

Current limits

• AARO LAB does not, at this time, rely on a formally identified external medical board. No fictional external medical review is claimed.
• Dossiers do not issue any diagnosis and do not replace a consultation with a healthcare professional.
• Some statements rely on preclinical or in-vitro data; they are flagged as such via the EvidenceBadge.
• Scientific literature evolves continuously — some hypotheses presented here may be revised in future updates.
